Marine welders and pipe fitters perform structural and pipe welding on vessels, barges, and marine structures. Required to follow ABS, OSHA, USCG and company policies.
Responsibilities:
• SMAW, FCAW, GMAW welding on carbon steel, aluminum, stainless
• Fit and install pipe systems and structural components
• Read blueprints and ABS/USCG specifications
• Work in dry docks, onboard vessels, and in shop environments
Requirements:
• ABS or Coast Guard welding certifications preferred
• Ability to pass weld test
• Shipyard or heavy industrial experience
• TWIC preferred
